General Betting Rules

  1. A customer must be at least 18 years of age to register. The company reserves the right to ask for proof of age from any customer and a customer's account may be suspended until satisfactory proof of age is provided.
  2. Each user must ensure that they comply with their own local, national or state laws regarding betting before opening an account.
  3. betinternet.com does not accept customers from the following countries...
    • Australia
    • France
    • Hong Kong
    • USA and Territories
    • Netherlands
    • Netherlands Antillies
    • Spain
    • Poland
    • Belgium
    • Greece
Any bets that are detected, using commercially available tracking tools, as being placed from a device in these jurisdictions will be settled as void.
  4. Customers will choose their own username and password. This must be kept confidential at all times. No other person should have access to this information, as any bets placed using the correct username and password details will be debited from that account. If a customer suspects that their security information has been made available to any other person, they must contact our Customer Services department immediately, who will change the security details on the account.
Please note: It is essential to choose a strong password. The best practice is to make it a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. It is required to be a minimum of 6 characters in length. For security reasons, it is advised that you change the password for your account from time-to-time.
  5. All bets with betinternet.com are free of Tax and Duty. No charges will be made by betinternet.com on credit card transactions. Please note, your card issuing bank may make certain charges for which betinternet.com cannot be responsible.
  6. betinternet.com reserves the right to refuse the whole, or any part of any wager for any reason. We also reserve the right to close a customer's account at any time without stating our reasons.
  7. betinternet.com may also use 3rd party applications to verify that the details provided in your account application are correct. Where account registration details are found to be inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent or incomplete, betinternet.com reserves the right to suspend the account, request identity documentation, returning monies deposited and voiding any wagers placed.
  8. Only one active betinternet.com account is permitted per customer. We reserve the right to close duplicate accounts and void any bets placed on duplicate accounts.
  9. In order for online bets placed with betinternet.com to be valid, the customer must receive confirmation from us that the bet has been received. The bet will be deemed to be validated when a confirmation message appears on the screen. The bet is allocated a bet number, which can be used in the event of a customer's query
  10. Bets may be placed up to the actual start time of each particular event. With the exception of events marked as "In Play" or "Live", all bets taken after the "off" will be deemed void in the case of singles and non-runners in the event of multiples, win or lose.
  11. Once a transaction has been confirmed by betinternet.com, changes will not normally be permitted and bets cannot be voided. Any queries relating to bets should be reported to our customer services department no later than 24 hours from the date of acceptance.
  12. betinternet.com does not accept any responsibility for typing, human, electronic or palpable errors which lead to obvious price errors  (which includes the odds, handicap provisions, and other terms and conditions or details of the bet). If a bet is placed and accepted at odds that are:

    - materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made;

    or

    - clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was made then betinternet will pay winnings at the correct price, with the exception of Handicap bets and Total points bets - these will be considered void.

To establish the correct price betinternet will consider prices available in the general market at the time the bet was made, including the prices offered by other leading British bookmakers.

Examples of circumstances where this would apply are:

    -  the price is recorded as 80-1 when the price on offer in the general market is 8-1
    -  the handicap has been reversed.

  13. Where the same selection is taken to win more than one event, the only bets available at the current prices are singles. Special prices will apply for all multiple bets. Any multiple bet accepted in error will be re-settled at the special odds available at that time. If no special odds were available the bet will be settled as equally divided singles.
  14. All winnings will be credited to the customer's account following confirmation of the result.
  15. When a dead-heat occurs the bet will be settled at the full odds. The stake money will be divided by the number of winners that dead-heat, with the remainder of the stake lost.
  16. Each-way bets are settled on a win to win/place to place basis.
  17. Special bets. From time to time we will offer special betting opportunities, the rules for which are not covered specifically in these terms and conditions. In the case of these bets, additional terms will be published on the website and bets settled accordingly.
  18. betinternet.com reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Any such changes will be binding and effective immediately.
  19. In Play Information. We make every effort to ensure all of our Live In Play information (such as current scores, times of games and event information) is displayed on our website correctly at all times. However this information is provided as a guide and we assume no liability in respect of any information that is displayed incorrectly. General Soccer Rules

  • We accept singles on all Soccer matches.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all soccer bets on the outcome of a match, other than to progress to the next round, apply to 90 minutes play plus any injury time [i.e. the result at the end of the second half]. Extra time and penalties do not count. If a game is scheduled and played for less than 90 minutes (for instance two halves of 40 minutes for a friendly, or youth game) then all '90 minute' rules will still apply and all bets will be settled based on half time and full time results for that shortened game, as normal.
  • Where the venue of any match is changed from that originally published, all bets will be void.
  • If any match is abandoned before 90 mins have been played, the selection will be deemed void unless the outcome has already been decided, i.e. First Goalscorer or Time of First Goal.
  • Bets placed on postponed matches will stand as long as the match is played within six hours and that the venue remains the same. Any game not played within six hours from the original kick-off time will be considered void and all stakes will be refunded.
  • If there are reasonable grounds to suspect that any bet /bets were placed after an event has taken place in any game, betinternet.com reserves the right to cancel such bet/bets without having to provide any reason or burden of proof.
  • Settlement of soccer bets will be based on the results as determined by the Press Association and any other official sources as determined by betinternet.com

Mythical Matchbet Games

Mythical Matchbet Games These matches involve 2 teams performance in 2 different games against each other.  For example with the real games Valencia v Barcelona and Real Madrid v Villareal, we would offer the Mythical Matchbet Game of Barcelona V Real Madrid.  Note that even though Barcelona are away in their game v Valencia and Real Madrid are at Home v Villareal for the purposes of the "Mythical Matchbet" Game the Home team is considered whichever team is listed first and the away team is listed second Barcelona (Home) v Real Madrid (Away).

  1. The outcome of this Mythical Matchbet game between Barcelona and Real Madrid will be the total each of these 2 teams scores in their individual games for example:
    • Valencia 3 - 2 Barcelona
    • Real Madrid 1 - 0 Villareal
  2. In this case the scores of Valencia and Villareal are ignored and the result of the Mythical Matchbet game is Barcelona 2 - 1 Real Madrid.  Even though Barcelona lost their game v Valencia and Real Madrid won theirs v Villareal the result of the Mythical Matchbet game is only based on the number of goals Barcelona and Real Madrid score and therefore is a Barcelona win 2-1.
  3. Half time markets will be based on the score of each team at half time in their respective games.
  4. These games may be played at the same time, a few hours apart or on different days.  Any Mythical Matchbet Games offered will involve the senior teams listed in their next competitive match, unless otherwise stated.
  5. If either event is delayed or abandoned then all bets on the the Mythical Match will be void.
